I'm in the early stages of the affliction described in this Newsweek article:
Netflix Guilt: Who has time for all the great entertainment stacking up in our film queues, blog lists and digital TV recorders?Life at home is one of endless indulgence in asynchronous entertainment and relishing my consumer's role in contributing to the shift to a 'long tail' economy. And there are other things of course - meeting up with old classmates and friends and watching opera at the Esplanade... which all adds up to a state of blissful laziness I'm not too willing to break out of. Just yet.
Oh, and there's the work at the lab, which is moderately interesting in its own way but otherwise a drag. Maybe I should start to seriously look biochemistry in the eye and interrogate its ostensible appeal.
