I've learnt to recognise the smell of marijuana, because it's being smoked by someone somewhere in this dorm nearly every day. It's either for stress relief or post-finals celebration. Who knows. Pot-smoking Democrats, indeed.
Still neck-deep in math and genetics, but at least I'm not in over my head anymore. Flux integrals don't flummox me too badly, and I've got the hang of balancer chromosomes and
Drosophila idiosyncrasies. Still can't quite get limits and continuity though. Damn those epsilons and deltas. They cost me my first math midterm and I'd be damned if I let them get their way again.

'Depths of hell' doesn't even
begin to describe what I'm going through now. Granted, my papers are next Monday and Tuesday. But the material is
hard, and I'm still trying to figure out vector calculus, so I haven't started revising yet, and I've barely
touched Genetics, which is a sure-fire method of suicide, given the reputation of the genetics final exam. What's more, I keep getting these weird impulses to read fanfic that I haven't read in years. What
is up with me?
What
am I doing here anyway? Shoo, back to the books with you.
(Oh bloody hell, there are people in the hallway singing. Badly.)

I just had my first snow storm experience - not quite approaching blizzard proportions (though I live in hope), but it packed 20mph winds and covered the ground in about 20cm of snow.
It was
so much fun. Tramping around in the snow after the storm ended, helping clear snow off cars, gazing awestruck at the frozen prettiness and the lovely sunset that burst through the rapidly dispersing clouds after the storm's demise.
I know what I said previously about studying and not uploading any more photos, but you know what? Screw that. Sights like these don't come every day.

My roommate woke me up this morning at 7am - 'It's snowing, Brenda! Get up!' - and I finally got to see my first snow shower. The speed at which everyting started turning white was quite astonishing. I tramped around outside in the snow for a while, snapping photos like the maniacal snow virgin I am.
My last mega-upload of photos before I dive into finals mugging. Wish me luck.
For those who don't already know, I'll be arriving in Singapore on the 23 Dec, 12.30am, Northwest Airlines flight NW 5, most likely at Terminal 1. Wheeeeeee.
