Happy Boxing Day (...cos I was too lazy to do festive blogging)

Christmas has come and gone. School is one week away. I'm regarding the new year with loads of apprehension and not one nanogram of anticipation.

After days of carolling with a sore throat and a nascent cold, my voice has finally caved in. Damn.

Watched 'Battle Royale' with my sister yesterday. I was glad to discover that I wasn't as desensitised to violence as I had feared. I liked it; I have a thing for movies that feel like an endless, living nightmare. 'Perfect Blue' is another one of those; it was such a psychological hell-ride that after watching it I was apprehensive about going to sleep. [Both are Japanese films, the latter is anime. Hmm.] I highly recommend BR to anyone who can stomach bloody violence and who has a broadband connection since I don't think it's available in stores here. Or I could burn you a copy. :) I sure am promoting all things illegal, unhealthy and plain wrong.
